Parlem Studio is a home accessories collection designed by a Parisian based in Haarlem, near Amsterdam. The name blends the two places she calls home, as a tribute to the cities she loves.
The collection of lampshades draws inspiration from African, Indian, and Japanese cultures and meshed with the elegance of Scandinavian design. Each unique and handmade model is carefully crafted and paired with minimalist bases made of pure glass or tribal ceramics.
Bold details enhance the designs: the vibrant textile cords in multiple colours are meant to be showcased rather than kept hidden, the elegant brass components from France echo the traditional French casual chic style, while the uniquely designed switches and plugs from Italy are reminiscent of the joyful 60s style.
A luxury addition to your home, the lamps can be customized to match your decor through the various textiles offered for the shades. Combined with our customized cushions, they create a stylish and vibrant ensemble that instantly upgrades your space.
In addition, carefully curated artworks will enrich the space with inspiring and immersive décors. Paintings, illustrations, and sculptures by exceptionally talented artists will be showcased to enhance the Parlem Studio experience. Each month, new artists will be featured, offering a selection of original pieces and high-end reproductions available for purchase.
About the founder
A luxury specialist, Delphine Gubert started her career in the fashion industry, where she made significant contributions to high-end ready-to-wear collections for over 15 years in both Paris and London. She held pivotal roles in design, marketing and communications for esteemed brands such as Yohji Yamamoto, Joseph London and Céline. Subsequently, alongside her partner, she successfully launched Little Big Pictures, a boutique photo and film agency catering primarily to A-list clients in the fashion, cosmetics, and film industries. This decade-long journey allowed her to understand the importance of warm lighting, luxurious fabrics and sophisticated colour palettes to create a luxurious environment.
Realizing she could bring her wealth of experience in the luxury and visual worlds to interiors, Delphine Gubert decided to create her own collection of home accessories.
Parlem Studio was founded with a simple mission: to easily elevate interiors.
Reflecting her life between Paris and Haarlem as well as her many travels and encounters with diverse cultures worldwide, Parlem Studio is a testament to Delphine Gubert’s rich life experiences and creative vision.
Specializing in unique pieces and limited editions of table lamps alongside matching textile home accessories, the studio also takes on bespoke interior design commissions - from private homes to hotels and offices - as part of its growing Home Decor offer.
